how we treat

The services below describe the types of care available at Mend. Most patients receive a combination based on their treatment plan. The specific mix depends on what the evaluation shows and what the team recommends.

  • Sports medicine

Dr. Jean-Pierre evaluates musculoskeletal injuries, assesses movement, and determines the cause of the problem. For patients who need injections, he performs image-guided injections in-house. He also coordinates referrals when care beyond Mend is needed.

  • Chiropractic

Chiropractic care at Mend focuses on restoring movement and reducing pain through spinal and joint adjustment. Dr. Grover's approach draws from both his chiropractic training and his background in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

  • Acupuncture & dry needling

Mend offers two distinct acupuncture approaches. Dr. Grover integrates acupuncture and dry needling into his chiropractic care. Bruce Haymann specializes in orthopedic acupuncture with a focus on trigger point, neurofunctional, and musculoskeletal applications. Both are used within the treatment plan when clinically appropriate.

  • Physical therapy

Dr. Levy designs and delivers rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's condition and goals. His work includes manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength programming, and return-to-sport planning. Rehab programs are built to align with the broader care approach so that active work and hands-on care support each other.

  • Massage therapy & soft tissue work

Rachel's massage therapy and soft tissue work are informed by what the rest of the team is treating. She understands what areas are being addressed and where targeted work will help. Sessions are individualized based on the patient's current condition.

  • Image-guided injections

For patients who need targeted injection therapy, Dr. Jean-Pierre performs image-guided injections in-house for precise delivery without a separate appointment.

  • Referral coordination

When care requires something beyond what Mend offers, we coordinate referrals for imaging, bloodwork, surgical consultation, or specialist care.

The goal is to make the next step clear.
